I had a couple come through and buy some lube about an hour ago, and now there was a singular dude who was inspecting the whole damn store with a bewildered expression. I sat nervously, hoping that the interview I was about to have would lead to a job. I'd been out of work so long that I was behind in everything. My apartment rent was 6 months in arrears. My car had been repossessed. My hair hadn't been cut in months. My girlfriend took off. I'd ironed the shirt I wore that day by steaming up the bathroom using the shower, and used my hands to pull out most of the wrinkles. Most, but not all. A Rainy Saturday Awakening By 64Unsure (All characters are fictional and over 18) Let me start by saying I am a 60 plus man, not in great shape, but getting better. I was married for over thirty years. A wonderful woman, who sadly passed away a year and a half ago. I took it kind of hard, and went into a period of depression. I just went to work, came home, sat around the house, watching TV and eating junk food. One morning while getting ready for work, I grabbed a shirt and tried to pull it over my head, when it tore. While I was taking it off, I noticed myself in the closet mirror, and seeing myself for the first time in a long time. I was not happy with what I saw.
